talk about slacking! i was better about blogging during vacation than when im at home! well the last two weeks have been relatively good in terms of working out. i took about 4 days off post vacation and picked it back up with a workout with Shawn in Youngstown. i realized how much i miss the rope in my workout...next purchase! :) my arms were shot after one round of the rope...definitely missing that on a regular basis. from that point forward i was good about working out...picked right back up into the routine.
so i'll fill you in on a few of the workouts...i didn't write them all down. some of my tuesday/thursday workouts have been in the pool lately...which is a good option when it's 98 with a heat index of like 100 something! however, i miss the way i feel after my regular workouts on pool days.
so here goes!
6/26 workout group!
warm up: jumping jacks, knee touches, arm circles 3 rounds of 30 seconds
squats, rows (trx), kettlebell 2 arm swings, lunges, chest press (jungle gym) 3 rounds of 30 seconds each
sledgehammer, step ups/deck jumps, t & y deltoid fly (trx), squat and kick, plank (jungle gym or regular), keg carry 3 rounds of 30 seconds
squats, sledgehammer, rows (trx), step ups/deck jumps, chest press (jungle gym), keg carry 2 rounds of 30 seconds each
6/28 me and megan
warm up: jumping jacks, straight leg kicks, burpee tops
push ups, deck jumps, rows (trx), kettlebell swings (2 arm), chest press (jungle gym), squat jumps 3 rounds of 30 seconds each
t & y deltoid fly (trx), plank, tricep dip, sit ups on bosu 3 rounds of 30 seconds each
push sled, keg carry, sledgehammer 3 rounds of 30 seconds each
row sled, keg carry, squats 3 rounds of 30 seconds each
7/2 me and megan
warm up
push ups, rows (trx), tricep dips 3 rounds of 30 seconds each
chest press (jungle gym), sit ups (bosu), bicep curp 3 rounds of 30 seconds each
jumping jacks, burpees, line touches 3 rounds of 30 seconds each
clean & press, jump rope, sled 3 rounds of 30 seconds each
squat, keg carry, sled 3 rounds of 30 seconds each
jump rope, pull sled, keg carry 3 rounds of 30 seconds each

prior to the workout i did:
push ups

pull ups

warm up
push ups, rows (trx), side arm raises 3 rounds of 30 seconds each
squat & press (kettlebell), pulls up (trx or bar), front arm raises 3 rounds of 30 seconds each
t & y deltoid fly (trx), plank, push ups (w/ bosu) 3 rounds of 30 seconds each
butt blasters w/ band, lunges w/ weight, leg lifts w/ leg weights 2 sets of 12 reps (15 reps for butt blasters)
bench press - 4 sets (10, 8, 8, 6) jump rope between sets
7/4 me, megan, frank, doug
warm up with jumping jacks, leg kicks, squats
squat variation add hops for difficulty (trx), ab cross drive, single arm row (jungle gym), plank, jump rope
3 rounds of 30 seconds each
leg levers or sit ups (bosu), broad jump, burpees, chest press (jungle gym) 3 rounds of 30 seconds each
pull sled, keg carry x 2, sledgehammer x 10 3 rounds
push sled, flip tire x 4 1 round
7/5 off day for me - workout group

rows (trx), knee drives on deck, kettlebell swing, t & y deltoid fly, bicep curl w/ bands 3 rounds of 30 seconds each
